Carousel

I'm still learning about my new camera. This carousel in a local shopping mall gave me some practice in the various focus modes and focus areas on the camera. It's easy to get decent focus when the carousel is not moving.
Manitowoc has a WWII submarine on display, The Cobia, that was built in Groton. It was the same design as the ones built in Manitowoc, but none of he Manitowoc boats were available. Four were destroyed in WWII, others were recycled, and some were still in the service of other than American navies.
Carousel animals are a lost art form. They are always fun to see. Hope you are enjoying your new camera.
