I noticed this interesting rock on a recent walk through Dogwood Park in Wesley Chapel, NC. I'm not sure if this type of rock is native to this area or not. I think it was placed here for decoration.

Spirit Rock
Waxhaw, NC 2022
Here is Colin's "spirit rock" in celebration of his 9th birthday. I've seen a number of these rocks outside of school throughout the Charlotte area. For a fee, a local artist will paint the rock, usually with birthday announcements, for all to see. That is until the next birthday celebration comes along.
