The Kaleidoscope Festival was held on Mother's Day weekend this year.  This florist gave away free bouquets to all the moms.

Each spring Waxhaw hosts the Kaleidoscope Festival featuring various artisans, businesses and food trucks.  This particular artisan cuts up old license plates and makes customized vanity plates from the old plates.

Trail Improvements

This part of the trail is being improved .  Parts of the trail are paved with asphalt while other parts remain natural.  I think they're going to pave this portion as well.
