Truist Field in "Uptown" Charlotte is the home of the Charlotte Knights, an AAA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. This weekend the ballpark hosted the Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament. This shot was taken just before the start of the semi-final game between North Carolina and Notre Dame. The Irish had a great season and for the first time in their history made it to the semi-finals. Unfortunately the came up short to a great North Carolina team, losing 7-2. The Tar Heels won the championship the next day.

I think it's a safe bet to say that this is a black snake. It was spotted along side the Four Mile Greenway trail and sat pretty motionless while I was able to take its portrait.

The city of Charlotte and the surrounding county has about 62 miles of trails for walking, jogging and biking. The trails are mostly paved or are a boardwalk as seen here. Only 61 miles left for me to explore.
