Waxhaw, NC 2026
Walking along this trail I noticed off to the side this object. It looks like a base to some sort of pedastal or a support for a column. I didn't notice any markings on the object so I doubt it's some sort of mile-marker, or boundary marker. I didn't see any other objects nearby or remnants of other buildings. I'm not sure what it is.
This is a mystery I hope you can solve. Perhaps talk to local historians? They might know. Lovely base for a column.
