Discovery Place is a science museum located in uptown Charlotte. It features many hands-on exhibits designed to appeal to children and get them excited about math and science. This display shows some of the many projects the kids have created at the museum. Being good grandparents, we just had to take our granddaughter Clara to the museum last week.
Science museums are great places for kids. I used to hang out at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Went back a few years ago to discover at least two new sciences now exist since I was a kid, genetics and computer science
