National Baseball Hall of Fame
Cooperstown, NY 2025
Our recent trip to the northeast brought us close to Cooperstown, NY, the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Of course we had to stop. We were able to take in most of the museum, but one could easily spend hours here.
Wish I could go! One of my fondest memories as a travel agent is suggesting Cooperstown to a man and his grown son. The joy it gave them! Back in the 80's, folks in the South were not that familiar with it.
Yes! The guys that I sent there were very, very pleased that I recommended it! Isn't upstate New York pretty? Never once have I gone, but I sent folks there. You know, it was fun to talk to people and learn of their interests and suggest destinations for them. Once, I had a couple who found cheap flights to NYC for new year's eve but no hotels could be found! Their faces were so sad. I told them to fly up there and stay up all night!! They did! They ended up finding a hotel once up there so it worked out anyway. They were so grateful!
Upstate New York is one of my favorite places. I have lots of memories of the area having spent a lot of time in the Catskills and the Adirondack mountains.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment, Kay. I wish we had more time, not only to see the Hall of Fame but also the town of Cooperstown. It's a lovely town.
