Engine in the Middle

As far as trains go, this one was pretty monotonous. It was a long line of bulk carrier cars whose contents were unknown to me. All the cars were pretty much identical save for the graffiti on the sides. The only break in the line was this engine in the middle.

Coming In for a Landing

The Charlotte Premium Outlet Mall is close to the flight path for Charlotte International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the US. I could use a little more practice capturing these planes, but this isn't too bad for a first attempt.

You can buy just about any kind of cuisine from food truck these days. There were a number of food trucks at Waxhaw's Annual Kaleidoscope Festival this year.

New Trail

I've been watching crews clear lots of trees close to 12 Mile Creek over the last several weeks. I'm not sure exactly what the plan is, but it's looking like the start of new trail along the creek.
