First Energy Stadium

I had chance recently to watch a game at First Energy Stadium in Reading, Pa. This is the home ballpark for the Reading Fighting Phils, an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. It was a great evening for a ballgame, followed by fireworks. The Fighting Phils won 5-3.

I walked a short distance along this trail. This is one of the only creeks that I've seen with somewhat clear water. It hasn't rained recently, and there isn't any housing development nearby that directs its storm water here.

Waxhaw had its July 4th Parade and it contained everything one expects in a parade, politicians, fancy cars, clowns, jugglers, pretty girls, and a large turnout. More pictures coming tomorrow.

Hammock Stand
Waxhaw, NC 2024
A new park opened in downtown Waxhaw earlier this month. Located near some picnic pods were a number of these supports without a hammock. At least that what I think these are.
