I never play lacrosse as kid, but it has grown in popularity. That's my grandson, Colin carrying the big lacrosse stick and playing on defense. At this time of the year he must play every weekend in a lacrosse tournament somewhere.

Earlier this year, a local Waxhaw brewery, Dreamchaser Brewery went out of business. The site was taken over almost immediately by Charlotte based brewery, Middle James Brewing Co. Good beer and better people is their motto.

This is what is seen next to the abandoned farmhouse shown in yesterday's post. I don't how long the hay bales have been sitting there, and the garden area does look pretty over grown. I'm not sure if anyone is maintaining this property or not.

This property, especially this house, looks like it hasn't been kept up for many years now. There are some signs nearby that the property was once a farm of some sort. It might also still be in use by someone. This is in stark contrast to the large estates, singe family homes and developments located around this property.
